EXPERIMENTAL INSTALLATION WORK

By Carlo Van de Roer. Playing with the changeability of a moment frozen in time.
Captured in 1/60th of a second, in-camera using light sources moving eight times the speed of sound.
In a physical space, your position in front of the frozen image changes the position of a moving light source within the image.
Previewable here via mouse or touchscreen.

10:46:52 am (Ironing board and sand sourced from the construction of a domestic space + dichroic glass).

An Installation at the New Museum’s 231 Bowery gallery space, as part of the 2016 New Inc Showcase.
